Custom heavily aged nitro relic-shell pink over red and inspired by a 2006 American Fender Stratocaster. Shell Pink was originally the color of a 1956 Desoto auto and eventually became one of the most prized Fender guitar colors ever made. No dirt or shoe polish used in any of our relics. We added the mojo with pigment and texture to realistically replicate age and feel of that old heavy relic guitar that you always wanted but could never afford. This beautiful custom heavy relic Strat plays and feels like a custom guitar should, plus the Lindy Fralin Vintage Hot Pickups take it to a searing level of vintage tone when needed. The neck is a Modern-C maple neck and fingerboard with 9.5" (24.1 cm) (fretboard radius)Large '70s Style (headstock). Jumbo frets adorn this gorgeously aged maple neck which begs to be played. Frets were leveled and polished then setup and intonated with new Slinky 9’s; she’s ready to go! Six point vintage tuners, bridge saddles, screws and hardware were aged and sealed, so that they will look tomorrow, the way they look today for years to come.

Guitarwacky’s proprietary finish process involves several coats of nitro lacquer; the finish is hand sanded and rubbed into a softened and smooth luster. We don’t just pump out relics by slapping new loaded pick guards on what is thought to be an aged guitar. It is cutting corners on time cost and originality; assembly lines do that!
