Just completed: 7lb 10oz American Fender Stratocaster Custom Relic Blue Sparkle. This stunning nitrocellulose lacquer finish was professionally aged by hand to perfection. This is not an assembly line produced finish. Guitarwacky's proprietary finish is top quality and was developed over time. The base coat is Lil Daddy Roth "Bad Azz Blue" pearl lacquer. The flake coats were Custom Lil Daddy Roth " Bad Azz Blue ". Roth pearls and paints are the essence of 50's-60's cool vintage vibe. This muted vintage blue metal flake just pops! Next, the Alder body received the ultimate Guitarwacky proprietary pigment age treatment including tons of vintage shattered glass finish checking. That's finish checking on several layers of lacquer. This process defines vintage instruments. This beauty is powered by an HSS configuration. The volume pot was upgraded to 500k with treble bleed circuitry-one Fender Atomic humbucker and two Fender hot single coil Alnico pickups- Modern "C"-shape neck 9-1/2" profile- jumbo frets- 5 way selector switch.

Guitarwacky aged pick guard completes this incredible guitar. Frets dressed and polished and the guitar will arrive freshly setup and ready to play.  Aged vintage tuners and slinky 09’s; she’s ready to go! Saddles, screws and hardware were aged and sealed, so that they will look tomorrow, the way they look today for years to come.

Superb! This guitar is everything I hoped it would be and then some. A quick preface is that I have a 74' Strat I love, a 2018 Fender custom shop 57' Strat for 4k. This one feels better than the custom.I love the feel of a nice worn in guitar and sometimes when I want to get something new I like the option of having the feel of a beautiful old Strat without the insane price tag.This guitar nailed that! The relic work is amazing! The neck and fretboard are so smooth! Absolutely Love It!
