TUSQ XL is a breakthrough in guitar tone and performance. This precision engineered nut is made with a specially formulated material which couples the strings' vibrations to the neck and brings out the hidden harmonics in every note. It is based on the highly resonant TUSQ man made ivory, but is impregnated with Teflon to improve the tuning performance of the guitar. Get TUSQ tone, vintage looks, and permanent lubrication.

One of the key causes of tuning frustration is string binding at the nut. TUSQ XL nuts alleviate the binding grip of the nut on the string by reducing friction between the nut material and the string. As strings move actoss a TUSQ XL nut, they shear open microscopic "capsules" loaded with Teflon lubricant. Teflon is 500% more slippery than graphite and is impregnated throughout the TUSQ XL material so its lubricating properties will never wear out. They will keep your guitar in tune longer that graphite, bone, plastic, or synthetic nuts. It's that simple!
