Gary James captures a joyful spirit in this familiar and well loved text. This five-verse anthem is written in the middle range for all voices. Beginning in unison, it develops with a short canonic verse, followed by two part and later four part voicing. The organ, used throughout, supplies harmonic interest while often doubling the melodic line.
