A Maple neck combined with a New Zealand pine fret board and Jumbo frets allows aggressive power chording and smooth, fast playing. This item is sold as a Factory Second. A Factory Second is an item that acquired a cosmetic flaw during manufacturing. This item is fully functioning properly and solely marked as a Factory Second due to a cosmetic flaw. The type of cosmetic flaw varies with every item such as light surface scratching, finish dings or splits, paint discoloration, etc. The flaw is purely cosmetic and does not affect the playability or durability of the item. The majority of Factory Seconds look brand new, as the manufacturer is fanatical about quality control and will mark an item as a second for even the tiniest cosmetic imperfection. Ibanez stamps a small "S" on the back of the headstock. The pictures shown in the listing are our own stock photos.
