Bill Lawrence Stratocaster models are divided into 2 groups.
One is BC-series, orthodox copy model with normal 6 pole piece type pickups, the other is BL-series, developed model with Bill Lawrence L-type pickups. The BL-series seems to be manufactured from 1984 to 1989.
The BL1 equips two L-500 pickups, BL2 dose three L-250, and BL3 installs one L-500 on the bridge side and two L-250 on the middle and neck side. Many guitarists have been loving L-500. It is the same now as formerly.
