Tone City Dry Martini is an excellent Overdrive pedal. It is built to be used as a low-gain boost or as a potent medium-gain drive.
With 2 modes of operation and all of the controls you need to take full advantage of this great circuit.
As a versatile drive pedal, Dry Martini can be used as a solid boost to push the front end of your amp and keep the characters of guitar sound.
However, with more extreme settings, the Dry Martini turns into a powerful and punchy medium gain drive that verges on full-on distortion.
It works brilliantly into the clean channel of your amp, you can attain this wide range of sounds not only from the typical gain, tone and volume controls, but also with the added strong switch as well. When engaged, this single switch increases the low-end definition, which is amazing if you need a bit more chunk for riffs or solos.
