Dear Musician,
Thank you for downloading these free sample loops from the “AdrenaLinn Guitars” sample library, which is endorsed by Roger Linn. You’ll also find two demo songs which consist solely of loops from the library (except for the drum sounds).
Please note these loops are recorded at 100 BPM. This is because they use stretchable file formats, and speeding up loops gives better fidelity than slowing them down. Also, all library loops are recorded in the key of E and Bb so they can be transposed without the kind of artifacts caused by extreme transpositions. For more information about the loops, please read the “AdrenaLinn Guitars Info” file.
I hope you enjoy using these loops, and thanks for your support. Now go make some great music!

Originally released as part of M-Audio’s ProSessions series in 2009, this was one of the company’s best-selling loop libraries. At long last, it has been re-issued.
The 156 unique files (468 total for all formats) are available in two time- strechable formats: Acidized WAV and REX. The AIFF files included in the original version have been replaced by a set of FLAC files that overall take up less than half the memory of the Acidized WAV files, and can be pitch-shifted and time-stretched in most DAWs by using the host’s DSP functions. All files were recorded at 100 BPM because speeding up tempo generally gives better fidelity than slowing down.
For maximum fidelity when shifting pitch, all files were recorded in two keys (Bb and E) so you needn’t transpose pitch more than a few semitones to reach any key. The Acidized WAV and REX files can typically stretch tempo from 90 BPM to at least 150 BPM. Resolution is 44.1 kHz/16 bit.
At the time, reviewer Dave Hill Jr. wrote:
“Anderton routes his trusty six-string through instrument inventor Roger Linn’s latest bending-edge musical contraption, the AdrenaLinn effects pedal. The results are a barrage of freakily filtered rhythmic and subtle harmonic explorations...You may not always recognize these sounds as emanating from a guitar, but that is entirely the point. Anderton, who often plays in Europe as an electronica artist, has made some creative yet practical sounds that could work in a wide variety of musical compositions.”
Please listen to the two demo clips to get a hint of what these loops can do in a musical context. All sounds except the drum track were provided by the loops, with no additional processing.
I’d like to thank Roger Linn for permission to reference the AdrenaLinn, as well as remind everyone that an AdrenaLinn III hardware processor or the AdrenaLinn Sync plug-in can make make these kinds of sounds, as well as many more. You can find out about Roger’s line of products at rogerlinndesign.com.
Enjoy the loops!
