Sonically, you get tighter, clearer lows, emphasized mids (think Fender Texas Special single-coil PU) and somewhat subdued highs. Again, YMMV. If you favor blues(rock) and heavier stuff, you’ll be pleased. If Fender clean is essential to you (sparkling Princeton-like highs), you might as well stick to the stock cable. Tone is subjective
