Total vibe machine here. This has been totally recapped and retubed with all NOS tubes. All transformers and mechanicals are original. The only components that have been replaced are a few filter capacitors and electrolytics. The tubes are an exact match from what was used when these rolled outta the factory that built them.
The collins 26C has miles of gain and personally I love to pair it with older RCA mics that need that extra lift. BX44 / KU2A style mics really benefit from working in tandem with compressors from this era and I can't think of a better pairing for vocals. During mix down this was definitely a go to for bass for me. It has a tight lift in the low end and gives everything extra depth in the mix. Message me with any questions.
