Sultan Series combine the brilliance of classic, lathed Traditional Series and the dryness of raw, unlathed Turk Series. The varied playing surfaces provide a wide range of sonic textures. Crashes produce slightly mellowed tone with controlled spread and quick decay. Rides express themselves with full-bodied responses, strong definition and ample but controlled overtones, open up slightly before rolling back into tight, sweet articulated sticking patterns. Hats offer a dark chick sound with a well-contained stick response.
