A deluxe soundboard made of hand-selected, AA solid spruce is the heart and soul of the Balladeer. The deep contour, cutaway body shape represents the latest evolution of Ovation's pioneering Lyrachord design. It makes the Balladeer a comfortable fit, whether sitting or standing. Ovation's slightly shorter scale length, narrower nut, and 10" fretboard radius give the 5-piece, satin, mahogany/maple neck a fast feel. The traditional, inlaid, oak-leaf rosette offers an elegant touch against a high gloss, black finish. The Balladeer's OP-Pro preamp and OCP1K pickup produce an uncompromising, plugged-in performance for the most discriminating player. Ovation's Timeless Collection Balladeer is a modern classic.
