This is the latest System Software for both the AKAI DR-8 and AKAI DR-16 Hard Disk Recorders. Buyer receives one 2.32 OS ROM and the relevant manual addendum's. 2.32 was released November 1997 and corrects several bugs present in 2.30, which was the last version to offer major feature updates. To install this ROM, flip over your DR8/DR16 and unscrew the screws around the edge of bottom panel, it lifts off and you'll see the ROM right there.
I only use Brand New, Never Before Used ROMs made by USA made flash-based, an American company. These EPROMs are made with the latest technology and are fully resistant to BIT ROT corruption which plagues the older style UV Erasable EPROMs! Need more than one? Discount rates available! New functions • Up to 4,000 audio files can be recorded on a disk.
