The Saturnworks black micro tap tempo with reversible polarity pedal allows you to set the delay rate for a variety of effects pedals including the Boss DD-5, DD-7, DD-20, RC-2, and RC-3, or any pedal that requires a normally closed (NC) OR a normally open (NO) tap switch, such as the EHX Canyon. It replaces the Boss FS-5U for momentary (aka unlatching) applications.

The pedal's toggle switches the polarity between normally open and normally closed. Boss uses normally closed, while most other brands use normally open. Please note: this tap will not work with Strymon devices, which use a special TRS configuration. Our regular (non polarity) tap tempo pedals can be set up to work with Strymon. Please contact us with any questions regarding compatibility.

The Saturnworks tap tempo pedal is built to last with top quality components and features including:

  • A momentary footswitch that has a light click when actuated.
  • A premium Switchcraft USA 1/4" TS jack.
  • A rugged die-cast black powder-coated aluminum enclosure.
  • Being passive, the pro tap tempo does not require an adapter or battery.
  • At 2" x 2" (1590LB size), the micro tap switch is also extremely compact to save precious space on your pedal board.
  • High quality wire made in the USA.
  • Handcrafted and bench-tested in California, USA.
  • A 1-year limited warranty against parts and manufacturing defects. See saturnworkspedals.com for warranty terms and conditions.
