DescriptionSeymour still remembers having his band mates drive him to 8th Street Music in Philadelphia back in the 60s to buy his first Fender Mustang after seeing one played on TV. Theres nothing like the sound of a Mustang with its short scale length, unique vibrato, and customized pickups.The Antiquity II Myth Mustang pickups deliver a tone that is springy and almost bouncy like a Strat, but with a honkier midrange quality, and just the right amount of harmonic sparkle. The specially calibrated alnico 5 rod magnets will add a nice, natural sustain to your instrument, and we use the same diameter & height pole pieces as the originals. Hand built in our Custom Shop, the Antiquity II Myth for Mustang uses calibrated alnico 5 rod magnets, vintage-correct light gray bottom flatwork, a custom coil wind with heavy formvar wire, cloth push-back lead wire, and each pickup is lacquered and wax potted.

Most pickups can't be returned once installed because of the installation process that requires soldering, etc. Seymour Duncan however offers a fantastic 21 Day Return Policy! Here's the details:
Seymour Duncan / Basslines offers our 21 Day Real World Exchange Policy on all new pickups purchased in the U.S. and some other participating countries, which states the following: If for any reason you're not satisfied with the pickup's sound or construction, return it and your receipt to your dealer, or direct to the factory within 21 days for exchange with another pickups of equal or lesser value. To do this, please just and include your invoice number and the new pickup you'd like to exchange towards.

For items under warranty, items should be returned to the company/manufacturer responsible for the warranty. We're happy to help facilitate if needed.
Returns NOT in 100% like new condition are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
We reserve the right to refuse any return at our sole discretion if the product is returned in any condition we deem as unsaleable (very notable signs of wear, obvious abuse, water damage, smells from pets or tobacco, etc).
Buyer responsible for shipping costs both ways.
Pickups that have been installed cannot be returned with the exception of Seymour Duncan & DiMarzio pickups. Seymour Duncan pickups can be exchanged even after being installed within 21 & 30 days respectively from the date of purchase. Please email or call (218.260.4176) for details. If a pickup that has been installed has a problem please contact us or the manufacturer to pursue a warranty return/repair with the manufacturer.
Certain other items also cannot be returned due to health concerns. For example the Talk Box pedals that use a tube for operation with the users mouth.
International buyers:
- Import tax & duty may be assessed by your government. Buyers are responsible for this amount. We don't charge them or receive them. Please inquire with your local customs office to confirm rates & regulations. Additionally, for a variety of reasons, we don't devalue items on customs forms.
- No returns are allowed on international purchases. If an items does not function properly, it can be returned for a replacement, but the buyer is responsible for the added shipping charge to ship the item back to us (we will cover return shipping costs to you).
- We ship most items internationally, however the following brands are unable to be shipped outside of the USA due to dealer agreements: Wampler, Jim Dunlop, MXR, ISP Technologies, Pedaltrain, Voodoo Lab. Any international orders placed with items from these restricted brands will be held until we verify with you if you'd prefer to cancel that item or consider a similar product from a non-restricted brand.
