This is a Genuine New Fender Telecaster Vintage Type "Pat.Pend." Bridge Plate with Hybrid Notches on the Upper & Lower Flanges and Custom Drilled to Fit an American Standard or American Professional .

This Hybrid Plate gives you the Best Balance of Picking Clearance and Tone.

This is a Standard Fender 50's Style “Pat.Pend.” Chrome Bridge Plate that is drilled with an extra set of “String Thru” Holes that permit this plate to be retro-fitted to the Fender American Standard, American Professional and American Deluxe Guitars.
 
To install this Bridge Plate, you will be required to drill (4) new Bridge-Mounting holes in the body of your guitar. You can easily use the new Bridge Plate as a Template. The original (3) Mounting Holes will be completely covered by this new Bridge.
 
The Screw Spread Dimension is 2-9/16" center to center to the (2) outer-most holes. The NEW String Spread Dimension is adjusted to the American Standard 2-1/16 inches "E" to "E".

The Bridge Plate is modified by "Notching" the Upper and Lower Flanges for right hand picking clearance near the Bridge Pickup. We keep as much of the “Tone Ring” as possible to maintain that Tele® sound. The Notched-Areas are then polished mirror smooth to match the rest of the bridge plate.
 
Saddles are NOT included with this Plate, but this Bridge Plate will accept any Stock or "Aftermarket" 3-pc. Saddle Set.

Note: Image numbers 3,4,5 & 6 show a Single Notched Bridge with a Set of Compensated Saddles. The Bridgeplate for sale here is Hybrid Double Notched, and does NOT include any Saddles.

Mounting screws are included. An instruction sheet on how to re-set your intonation is also in the package.
