This is the left-handed version of our iconic cedar top dreadnought guitar. An all-around warm-sounding guitar that is fun to play. From the smooth finish on the neck to the open Teton sound, this guitar is perfect for the beginner or pro.

This dreadnought features a solid cedar top that adds an increase to the low end and an initial volume boost. Brilliant mahogany back and sides complement the cedar top giving you an excellent warm deep sound. The Dreadnought was designed to help a guitar player stand out in a mix of instruments and the STS105NT is no exception when it comes to doing so.

Top Wood 

Western Red Cedar is a softer wood that has great warmth. Because of the warmth of cedar, it pairs very well with the human voice and is great for singers/songwriters. Cedar naturally amplifies quieter playing styles and is a favorite of finger pickers. 

Body Shape 

The dreadnought body shape has been the most popular shape for decades now for a number of reasons. First, it has a nice balance between low, mid, and high frequencies. Where somebody shapes scoop the mid-range, a dreadnought will bring the midrange up. This is important when playing with a group of instruments. The midrange of a guitar will stand out. Because of the tonal balance of a dreadnought, the sound does not get muddy and will be very articulate even when a player is a more aggressive picker.
