A modern reproduction of the Classic 1176 Revision D compressor, Warm Audio's WA76 Discrete Compressor features a fully-discrete signal path and employs the original transformer design of Reichenbach Engineering (now CineMag). The classic 1176 was a breakthrough in limiter technology, and for decades was used on many hit records thanks to its ultra-fast attack time and trademark sound. This recreation makes access to those resources more affordable than ever, combining its low-noise circuitry with an improved circuit board layout.
