To swap out the old switches and install the new ones, you will need some average DIY (Do-It-Yourself) skills and a moderate amount of self-esteem in order to desolder and remove the old switches and solder in the new ones. You will need a phillips screwdriver, some desoldering braid or a desoldering sucker or gun, a little solder, and a soldering gun. If you don't have any of those items, most of these tools can be easily found on Ebay, Amazon, Fryes Electronics, Radio Shack, or your local electronics store.
