DESCRIPTION & CONDITION:
   Just came back from our audio technician undergoing a complete check up & partial rehab -- a Vintage 1970s Marantz Model 2285 B Solid State Stereophonic Receiver in excellent, used condition cosmetically & electronically! Ready to perform. We are offering free shipping to the US only for this exceptional piece of vintage audio equipment. Optional walnut veneered case (WC -122) isn't present but they can be found online easily. NEW REDUCED PRICE!
   Unit does exhibit some small signs of wear from usage, primarily on the top edge of the face plate. The following work was performed by Audiotronics from Cherry Hill, NJ:
   The dial lamps were replaced, the erratic controls, switch & relay were cleaned, the FM front end assembly was cleaned & aligned, & the front panel assembly & all of the knobs were cleaned. All of the bulbs work as do the assorted functions. The silver face plate is straight & without defect. There is some light surface dirt on the face plate which will be removed prior to shipping. The 2285B is one of the most highly rated in the 22XX series of Marantz receivers. This unit was designed in the USA, & produced in Japan from 1977 to 1980.
