The pad base is constructed from Baltic Birch providing excellent durability, true solid feel, and pitch. The light weight compact design makes it great for carrying in a stick bag while traveling. An 8 mm threaded insert on the underside for placement on a cymbal stand. A non-slip disc is applied to the bottom for practicing on flat surfaces.
