The Heritage Audio HA73EQ is made to copy the specifications of the '73JR and DMA73 models, which were based of off the iconic 1073 pre amp. The single-channel 73 pre amp is a 80dB, 3 stage full discrete class A pre with industry standard Carnhill transformers which are hand wound in St. Ives, England. It has a line input via a separate XLR for adding fat and warmth to tracks. The microphone input has a LOZ that switches the input impedance of the mic transformer from 200 to 50 ohms, also included is a 20dB PAD to avoid overloading the input transformer. A 80hz discrete class A hi pass filter gives you control over your low end easily and lets not forget the ultra high impedance JFET based D.I. all on a single rack unit format. On the eq side of things, we have a 3 band classic equalizer with vintage correct inductors. The highs are a shelf at 12Khz, mids a selectable band EQ between 6 frequencies, and the Low shelf selectable between 4 frequencies. You also have a high pass filter that is selectable between 4 different frequencies to get rid of that unnecessary low end.Features:Made to the same specifications as the acclaimed ??73JR, ??73EQJR and DMA73 models.Industry standard Carnhill transformers hand wound in St Ives, England.80dB, 3 stage fully discrete class A mic preamp.Line input on separate XLR for adding fat and warmth to prerecorded tracks.20dB PAD on the mic input to avoid overloading the input transformer when desired.LOZ, switches the input impedance of the mic transformer from 200 to 50 ohm.Ultra high impedance, JFET based D.I.Fully discrete 3 band classic equalizer with vintage correct inductors.
