Vantage Quest Travel Electric guitar Matsumoku 1982 w case Very Cool

This is a cute and functional Quest by Vantage travel electric guitar.  Made in Japan by Matsumoku in 1982.  Not a toy! Original pickup with a coil tap switch (switch recently replaced). Two piece ash body with translucent finish.  Three piece maple neck, rosewood fingerboard. Frets don't show much wear, neck is straight, action is decent with room to lower although with a little guitar like this it's usually best to keep the action up a bid due to string tension.  There are some notable scratches and chips in the finish, worst is on the lower side , a small chip at the headstock corner, some more on the back. Otherwise, assorted normal scratches from use so this is not pristine but not broken or trashed either.  Scratches on the neck plate, and someone added a strap button on the upper horn with an extra hole so it was moved once. Original hard case with the Quest logo.  A cool little guitar by one of Japan's top guitar factories. Shipping will be $30 in the US by UPS ground.
