The Index Beercan Shaker is made from vintage Beer and Soda cans from the 1970's. The 12oz is the standard size, and is perfect to throw in a stick bag. They are much more durable than modern cans, with thicker walls and a stronger shape. You can specify Soda or Beer in the order notes, and we'll pick a random can of either type, possibly related to the state we're shipping to, possibly from a brand you've heard of.
The "smooth" flavor is on the quieter side, and well-suited for small venues. A great tool to have in your arsenal. It's got a washy texture with a metallic edge. Similar fill to the ever-popular egg shaker. I've heard from lots of people that this is their favorite of the two.
The "hoppy" flavor is also a killer, and a more traditional shaker tone. It's got a nice attack and volume, on the louder side of the 30 shakers we tested at the drum shop, with a rich metallic sound and lots of depth.
We recommend getting both, of course, so check the other listing for the Hoppy flavor.
