We're a small drum workshop in Louisiana, making things that only a few people need since 2011.

With limited production capacity and an unwillingness to spend big money on patents, Index has settled into a sweet spot of specialty percussion. Working in this niche of a niche means that there’s plenty of people who don’t “get” what we’re trying to do. My test is simple: if I think it sounds good and can find 10 other people who need it, then let’s put it out. There have been alotta failed products and dead ends, but when something finally makes it out of the shop and into the world, it outweighs all of that.

So yeah, I’m not trying to sell you anything. I just want to build some stuff and show it to you. If you need it, you’ll know.
