Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Classic High Performance in Cherry Sunburst finish. Made in 2017, this guitar features a Mahogany body with access neck heel and Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece and Titanium Nut. Aftermarket Grover tuning machines, traditional truss rod cover and traditional control knobs have been fitted. A pair of 57’ Classic humbucking pickups are fitted. These are wired to two volumes (push/pull), two tones (push/pull), and a three-way pickup selector.

The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the SlimTaper profile feeling fantastic in the hand and offering comfortable playability in all registers. The 1.745" nut width retains the regular Les Paul string spacing, meaning that there is more room on either side of the fretboard to prevent 'falling off' the board during vibrato or string bending techniques. The sculpted neck heel affords the player unrestricted access to the upper register, which is a real novelty on a Les Paul. 

Amplified, the pair of Gibson '57 humbuckers provide a fantastically thick and full tone right out of the gate. The neck is warm and round, with huge solo tones and smooth, buttery distortion  on offer. The Super '57 Classic in the bridge position offers full-bodied yet cutting rock rhythm tones that will catapult you to the front of any mix with ease. The myriad of push/pull and DIP switch controls in this guitar ensure unrivalled versatility. Coil splitting is just the start of this, with phase reverse, treble bleed and coil selection options, as well as coil tapping controls and transient suppression for recording. This guitar truly lives up to the name 'High Performance'.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Light to mild fine scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, these can be seen under direct light A small finish imperfection can be seen under direct light to the rear of the headstock.

Neck: Overall very good condition. A light indentation is present to the rear of the neck, this is located to the 7th fret and can be felt slightly in the playing position. Light tool markings are present to fingerboard across the register, these can be seen under close scrutiny.

Body: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the body display light scratching, visible only under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) included.

Hardware: Overall excellent condition. Several modifications have been made by a previous owner, these included, truss rod cover, tuning machines and control knobs. All of the original hardware is included.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
