The Rohema Mr. Muff MuffBite 16" is a flexible damping system for snare drums and toms, combining black felt with vintage 100 per cent cotton corduroy. The pad covers approximately one third of the drumhead and reduces overtones and sustain without completely dampening the drum’s natural character. The damper is attached quickly and securely to steel rims via the magnetic RimMount system. The MuffBite can also be used on the resonance side, opening up additional possibilities for sound shaping. Three metal clips are included for use on cast rims. Their inner sides are padded with foam, ensuring a secure fit whilst protecting the surface of the rim.
