Gold Tone - CC-50: Cripple Creek Banjo - w/ Gigbag

The banjo you actually want to pick up every day. The CC-50 brings real old-time tone to players just finding their way into clawhammer and folk without a price tag that makes you think twice.

Built around a multi-ply maple rim and hard maple neck, the Cripple Creek delivers the bright, cutting voice that open-back playing demands. A rolled brass tone ring adds focused punch and sustain that plastic-rim banjos simply can't touch. At just 5.5 lbs., it's light enough to play for hours. Every CC-50 is inspected and set up at our Titusville, FL shop before it ships, so it plays great right out of the box.

• Warm, projecting open-back tone built for clawhammer, frailing, and folk styles with a multi-ply maple rim and hard maple neck
• Rolled brass tone ring for focused attack and real sustain at a price that defies it
• Rosewood fingerboard with a smooth, comfortable playing surface and two-way adjustable truss rod for long-term playability
• Terminator tailpiece is Gold Tone's high-mass, bend-proof design that accepts loop- or ball-end strings
• Set up in Titusville, FL so it plays in tune, stays in tune, and arrives ready to learn on from day one
• Gig bag included for lessons, jams, or the back porch

A solid first banjo. An honest second one. The CC-50 is the most open-back for the money.
