Loud, Lightweight, & Smart

Evolve is great example of why we love the art of speaker design. The team at Electro Voice has incredible products that support everything from ambient ceiling speakers to sports stadium installed array. This allows them to pack their serious  sonic architecture to more portable products like the Evolve series. This is immediately evident with the systems proprietary waveguide that develops a 120 degree horitzontal plus an asymetrical 25 degree vertical coverage resulting in consistent listening across the audience. Electro voices also blesses Evolve 90 with FIR DSP processing for better phase aligment. Perfect for event and producer level DJs, the subwoofers laminar flow vent and 3 inch voice coil allows the system to achieve bass up to 28 Hz, that some serious boom and overall you get up to 134 dB max spl. EV's dominance in portable speakers is also honored as the efficent components and cabinet construction methods results in a lightweight system.
