This Fender 1967 Princeton Reverb AA764 in black is in excellent condition - this is a clean machine and it runs perfectly.

This is a serviced 12-watt black panel Princeton Reverb with onboard reverb and vibrato. The cabinet, tolex, grille, baffle and chassis all rate excellent, with no repairs or changes.  Transformers are original as well.  The 10" CTS speaker (manufacturer code 137, date code 620) is not original to the amp and looks like a re-cone. The electrolytic caps throughout have been updated, including the filter cap can.  The power cable was upgraded.  The work insures reliable operation for years to come, and it'll save you a couple hundred bucks versus a private sale amp that likely needs expensive service.

Tubes include a JJ rectifier, RCA 6V6 power tubes, and Telefunken and RCA preamp tubes - the tubes are likely original to the amp (except for the JJ of course), and all tubes were tested to make sure they're good to go on arrival. It comes with a new reproduction pedal, which is not original. It weighs 28 lbs 6.5 oz.

The Princeton name goes back to one of Leo Fender's first amps, a 5-watt 1x8 student model from 1946. The black panel Princeton Reverb arrived in 1964 with 12 watts from two 6V6 power tubes and a 10" speaker in a small, light cabinet. That low power and easy portability made it a favorite with session players. Fender kept the black panel look through 1967 and switched to the drip edge silverface style in 1968, so a 1967 like this one is from the last year of the black panel run.
