TL AUDIO PA-2001 INDIGO SERIES 4 CHANNEL PREAMP

TL AUDIO INDIGO SERIES PA-2001 4 CHANNEL PREAMP

This 4 channel preamp is part of the Indigo Series gear from TL Audio.  It is in very good condition operationally with no known issues and in good condition cosmetically showing signs of use that do not affect the operation of the unit. The PA-2001 is a four channel valve microphone pre-amplifier combined with low noise low noise solid state circuitry to produce high quality signal paths featuring a wide bandwidth.  Each channel has continuously variable input gain control (10 to 60 dB of gain) and output gain control, high pass filter (switchable 12dB per octave) and phase reverse switches, and independently switched +48V phantom power. The microphone inputs are balanced XLR connectors.  The valve stage includes both sections of a twin triode valve vacuum tube and has a variable signal level depending on the setting of the input gain control. The LED peak monitors are variable intensity showing headroom available, beginning to glow when a signal 6dB above normal line up level is present and fully illuminating when 10 dB of headroom remains. Phase reverse can be applied prior to the output level control to allow matching to sensitivity of the equipment later in the chain. Operating levels of the valve stages can produce anything from clean sound through added valve warmth. Each channel has a +4dBu balanced line level output on an XLR and a -10dBu unbalanced output on a quarter inch jack.
