Martin 000-18 Golden Era 1937 2011 - Ambertone 1933 Sunburst

Selling my immaculate Martin 2011 Custom Golden Era 1937 000-18. This guitar was custom ordered in 2011 and is built to be a wonderful variant of the Martin Golden Era guitars. See spec sheets in pictures.

This is without question one of the best-looking and best-sounding acoustic guitars that I have ever played or owned in my nearly 40 years of playing and collecting.

I bought this from the second owner last year and have only used it for some practice in my home and in a studio. It records very well and has a fantastic dynamic range. The original owner had an LR Baggs Anthem pickup/microphone system put in professionally by a luthier and it sounds awesome unplugged or plugged in! I haven’t gigged with this guitar but have tested out the Anthem and the sound is top quality.

It is in excellent condition for a 15+-year-old guitar, with no blemishes on the top, back, or sides, save for the normal pick swirls on the pick guitar and some very tiny pick marks near the top of the sound hole from normal playing. There are no finish cracks, the binding is perfect, and the bridge, saddle, and neck are all in perfect shape. The neck is straight, with just the right action, and this Martin really loves to stay in tune no matter what you are playing.

There are some very small marks on the headstock that are captured in photos, one is a small pinhead blemish at the top corner of the headstock, and another mark partially around the G string tuning machine that looks like it was from adjusting the tuning machine nut. Regular-sized pick to show the size of these two marks. I was very surprised that these were all I found on a guitar of its age. It has been taken very good care of over its life!

Comes with a spec sheet from Martin (also pictured) as well as the original CS case, case key, some silica packages to control humidity, as well as a temp/humidity reader in the case.
