🙋🏻‍♂️ Welcome to SynthFreak!

Hey and thank you for visiting my shop and for your interest in this instrument! Every instrument in my shop comes from my private collection and is treated with the highest level of care. My mission is simple: you receive a vintage instrument that performs flawlessly, not a "fixer-upper."

Before any item is listed, it undergoes a rigorous, multi-stage inspection by our technician. I know my prices reflect a premium compared to "as-is" listings, but this is a deliberate choice. When you buy from me, you are investing in a fully verified, professionally serviced, and risk-free collector’s item that is ready for the studio the moment you plug it in. You avoid the hidden repair bills and frustration that often accompany cheaper, unverified gear.

💎 Why You Invest in Quality

My pricing directly reflects the extensive time, technical expertise, and premium materials required to deliver an investment-grade instrument. Here is exactly what is included in your purchase:

• 🛡️ Double Technical Verification: Every instrument undergoes a comprehensive checkup before being listed. To guarantee perfection, the entire unit is tested again right before it is packed. Any component replacement, calibration, or restoration is handled by specialists so you receive a turn-key, flawless instrument.
• 📦 Premium Custom Packaging: Vintage electronics and delicate string machines are fragile and irreplaceable. To ensure 100% safety during international transit, we do not use standard shipping methods. We spend hours custom-building heavy-duty, multi-layered packaging or bespoke wooden crates. This professional-grade preparation guarantees that your investment arrives in the exact condition described.
• 🚀 Worldwide Fastest FREE Shipping: I believe in delivering excellence to your doorstep without extra costs. Every purchase includes expedited, fully insured worldwide shipping at no additional charge, ensuring your instrument arrives as quickly and safely as possible.
• ⚡ Power & Global Connectivity: My instruments are carefully checked for proper power configuration. Non-EU buyers receive guidance on using appropriate high-quality adapters or transformers where necessary for seamless operation.
• 📑 Customs & Import Optimization: International shipping often brings unexpected financial burdens. Our dedicated logistics team reviews each shipment individually to prepare customs declarations strategically. This compliant, professional approach helps minimize or entirely avoid unnecessary import fees and taxes for you.
• ✅ Transparency & Peace of Mind: I document the entire process and prioritize full professional transparency. You avoid the hidden risks, worn-out components, and immediate repair costs that often come with cheaper 'as-is' listings from private sellers.

🎹 Information about the Item for Sale

I am offering an EXTREMELY RARE and coveted ARP / Eminent Solina String Ensemble, widely celebrated as the absolute holy grail of polyphonic string machines. Originally engineered by Eminent in Holland and co-branded/marketed by ARP in the United States during the mid-1970s, finding an authentic, well-preserved unit in this pristine condition has become virtually impossible today. Genuine, fully operational original Solinas are among the rarest and most elusive artifacts of 70s electronic music history, heavily sought-after by top-tier museums, elite producers, and serious private collectors worldwide.

At the heart of the Solina's magic is its iconic, multi-stage bucket-brigade analog ensemble/chorus effect. Combined with its divide-down oscillator architecture, it produces a sweeping, infinitely lush, and gorgeously cinematic string sound (featuring Contrabass, Cello, Viola, Violin, Trumpet, and Horn voices) that software emulations and modern keyboards simply cannot replicate.

Technically, this ultra-rare Solina String Ensemble is in excellent operational condition. It has been thoroughly checked, calibrated, and cleaned by our technician to ensure all key contacts, voice boards, slider controls, and the legendary ensemble circuit perform impeccably. Optically, it is in wonderful vintage condition, preserving its classic wood-cabinet aesthetic with only minimal, normal signs of wear from its long history.

Please note: This listing includes the Solina String Ensemble unit and the power cable.
