Built at Gibson’s Bozeman, Montana acoustic shop and lightweight at just 4lbs 7oz, this J-45’s X-braced Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides deliver a bold, balanced sound, with detailed highs, round lows, and the warmth and projection of the slope-shoulder dreadnought design. An aftermarket active pickup with a sensor placed adjacent to the bridge plate offers added on-stage functionality. This J-45 has been professionally set up here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
