Offered by Banjo Studio. You are viewing the actual banjo that you will be purchasing.
Starr Banjos represents exceptional value in handcrafted North American instrument craftsmanship. Constructed by luthier Chuck Ogsbury in Gold Hill, Colorado, this 13" 5-string openback features premium specifications typically reserved for higher-priced models: curly maple rim and neck combined with abalone inlays. The hand-carved neck is individually shaped by Ogsbury for each instrument, ensuring consistent quality and playability.
What makes it unique
Chuck has been building banjos since the early 60's and is known for his other popular banjo companies, Ode and Ome Banjos. A Starr Banjo is made with the experience and dedication of a great builder of instruments.
The 13" curly maple pot gives a deep, warm, woody voice, ideal for clawhammer and old-time players, with a side frailing scoop, a hand-carved curly maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and genuine abalone star and dot inlays.
Professionally set up. Includes a heavy padded faux-leather gig bag.
