Up for sale is a GORGEOUS 2025 Gibson SG Standard ’61 in Translucent Teal, in excellent condition and perfect working order. This stunning SG features a beautiful translucent teal finish that allows the natural mahogany grain to show through, a comfortable SlimTaper neck profile, and a traditional ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece. Weighing in at an incredibly light 6 lbs 5.1oz, this guitar is exceptionally comfortable and a pleasure to play.

This guitar has recently been given a professional setup with a fresh set of 10–46 gauge strings, so it plays amazingly with a straight neck, low action, and accurate intonation. The original Gibson Burstbucker 61R and 61T humbuckers sound fantastic, delivering everything you’d expect from a great SG—rich, articulate cleans, warm vintage character, and plenty of bite and growl when pushed. The slim, comfortable neck and effortless upper-fret access make this an incredibly enjoyable guitar to play.

Cosmetically, this instrument is exceptionally clean and has clearly been very well cared for. There’s virtually no playwear to speak of, aside from some very light surface scratches and swirling in the clearcoat from normal handling and cleaning. There’s no discernible fret wet to speak of. Overall, this is an outstanding example that presents beautifully.

The guitar is completely original with the exception of upgraded locking strap buttons. The corresponding strap connectors are included, along with the original Gibson hardshell case. No paperwork is included.
