Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium Plus Electric Guitar in Lightburst finish. The Premium Plus range was designed to offer a higher-grade top on a Les Paul, with considerably upgraded electronics & playability features such as a compound radius to provide the player with the most premium experience possible, without having to spend the money to get to a Custom Shop level instrument.

Made in the USA in 2012, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Carved Flame Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Trapezoid inlays, Chrome Plated hardware, Grover locking tuners, a Nashville ToM bridge, a Stopbar tailpiece, and a set of Gibson Burstbucker Pro Humbuckers. These pickups are wired to two volume controls (push/pull coil tap), two tone controls (push/pull phase/pure bypass), and a three-way pickup selector.

The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Asymmetrical '60s SlimTaper profile filling the hand without being overly thick, and offering a balanced and smooth playing experience across the register. Slightly slimmer on the treble side, the neck feels well equipped for a wide range of playing styles & techniques. This creates a feeling of dependability whilst remaining articulate enough for technical playing. The 10"-16" compound radius ensures that the playing experience is tailored to the needs of the player in all registers.

The BurstBucker Pro 1 & 2 pickups have a broad tone, encapsulating the classic vintage humbucker tones revered by many. The unbalanced coils provide a rich low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with crisp and cutting trebles, granting plenty of clarity and articulation. The Burstbucker 1 in the neck position provides a lower output with full bodied tone, whilst the Burstbucker 2 in the bridge responds incredibly to overdriven tones, offering saturated lead lines and excellent note clarity. The controls offer comprehensive tone shaping options, with the push/pull features really allowing you to reshape and re-voice the guitar, allowing it to blend into any style or genre with ease.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. A light chip is present to the treble side edge of the  front face, near the truss rod cover. This does not expose the wood. The top front edge shows very light delamination when viewed under very close scrutiny. Light indentation to the front face is apparent near the top edge, consistent with the use of a clip tuner. Light scratching to the front face is visible under direct light, most notably surrounding the tuing posts.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.

Body: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the body display light scratching and indentations which can only be seen under direct light & close scrutiny. This is most notable near the control cavity to the rear face.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. Light denting is apparent in the early register, with very light flattening throughout. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
