So here is a 1967 Vox Essex solid state bass combo amp. I bought this to restore ( I do restorations) and started it and then it sat on the back burner for a while, and I need the space in garage.
While I was working on the cosmetics of the tolex and such I removed an external speaker jack someone put on the side that I never intended to use. That process resulted in the amp now being left with humm. Powers up fine but will need some electronic attention hence the low price. It is 80% restored and looks good.
In as much as I neither opened the solid state circuitry nor get into any of the electronics, I suspect it is something simple that any electronics guy can probably fix in a heartbeat.
Or disconnect the amp from the speakers and use as a 2 X 15” Beatles speaker cabinet as the speakers work and sound great.
Priced to sell "as is" and local pick up only no returns no offers please.
