This Engelhardt 3/4-size upright bass has been professionally set up for rockabilly performance, featuring gut strings and an installed pickup for amplified use. It offers comfortable playability with a medium-low action.
Features include a laminated spruce top, maple back and sides, and a maple neck.
Cosmetically, the bass shows honest wear consistent with use and age. There are numerous dings and areas of finish checking throughout the body, along with dings on the neck and finish wear on the fingerboard. The scroll appears to have sustained a crack at some point and has been repaired. Please review all photos carefully for a detailed representation of the instrument's condition.
Despite these cosmetic imperfections, the bass plays well and is ready for its next owner.
