This is a really fun and interesting horn. I believe it dates from the 1920s, it plays like it was made last year. The valves are nice and responsive, all the tuning slides move easily and properly, and it sounds pretty good to me. This comes with a mouthpiece that has a deeper cup that I don’t really like too much (prefer a shallow Rudy muck style mp and also Im not primarily a trumpet player) but I believe you can probably use most any Cornet mouthpiece with this. It is a smaller shank than a trumpet mouthpiece can fit in though, just so you know.
