Kanstul 1525 Flugelhorn – Copper Bell – Made in USA (Anaheim, CA)

A genuine American-made Kanstul flugelhorn, built by hand in Anaheim, California, before the company closed in 2015. Kanstul instruments are known for their craftsmanship and are getting harder to find. This 1525 is a great example of why players keep looking for them.

The copper bell and copper outer tubing give it the warm, dark and velvety sound you want from a flugelhorn. The sound is round and full at low volume and still opens up when you push it. The response is even across the whole range and the intonation is solid.

• Adjustable main tuning at the leadpipe receiver
• Lacquered brass valve section and slides

Condition: Very good, played but well kept. The valves are smooth, the slides move freely and there are no dents on the bell. It has normal light cosmetic wear from use (see photos). It’s ready to play.

Please note: the original case is not included. The flugelhorn comes with a non-original case. It will also be carefully packed for shipping.
