This '61 Reissue faithfully captures a piece of Gibson History.
Factory Bigsby is springy and holds tune well! Setup is great. No dead spots or issues.
Neck has that 60s feel for sure but is smooth and comfortable. Nice and thin. The ‘61 neck feels fantastic all the way up and down at .84 at the first fret and .89 on the twelfth.
The build here is impressive and you can feel it in your hands for sure. She is smooth and resonant. This baby sustains for days! This one is particularly loud even unplugged.
A few comments have to be made about the finish here! That. Back. It just doesn't get any better than that flame. And the front ain't too shabby either.
The Dog Ear P90s are the perfect addition to this amazing instrument. Gibson chime that is controlled clean and cutting dirty.
This baby is VERY NEAR EXCELLENT CONDITION with very few signs of use. Some marks on the headstock veneer and some light marks on the back are of note.
She comes in Original Gibson Custom Hard Case with Certificate of Authenticity.
