Zildjian 20" A Custom Projection Ride - 2744g - Discontinued - Good Condition

The Zildjian 20" A Custom Projection Ride is a discontinued professional ride designed for strong projection, clear stick definition, and a powerful bell. Compared with a standard A Custom Ride, the Projection Ride has a more focused, assertive voice built to stay defined in louder rock, pop, worship, and live settings.

Weight: 2744g

Condition: Good / Structurally Sound

• No cracks
• No keyholing
• No flea bites, dents, or dings
• No repairs
• Heavier oxidation/patina in some areas
• Some logo fading, although the original logos remain identifiable
• Normal stick marks and player wear
• Edges show some rougher cosmetic wear but no missing metal or structural damage
• Fully playable and sounds great

The visible oxidation, edge wear, and logo fading are the primary reasons I am conservatively grading this cymbal Good.

This is a used, discontinued cymbal, so please review all photos carefully, as they show the exact cosmetic condition.

Sonic Splice Notes

The A Custom Projection Ride is a great choice for players who like the polished character of A Customs but want more definition and authority from their main ride.

At 2744g, this example has a substantial feel with a focused stick sound, strong projection, and a bell that cuts very well through a full mix.

It definitely shows cosmetic use, but the structure remains intact and the cymbal sounds excellent. Since the Projection Ride is discontinued, it is also a nice option for players specifically looking for this older A Custom voice rather than the current production models.

Comparable Current A Custom Ride New Price: approximately $460
