Genuine matched pair of Svetlana / SED Winged C (=C=) 6550C power tubes.
Made in Russia (St. Petersburg factory). Square-hole plates, classic construction.
Tested on Maxi-Matcher 2 at 400 V plate / –48 V bias:
• Plate current: approx. 86.7 mA & 87.4 mA (excellent match)
• Transconductance: approx. 6.51 & 6.55 mMhos (very strong — well above the >3.2 minimum)
No shorts.
These are the sought-after original Winged C tubes — known for robust construction, headroom, and excellent tone in both guitar/bass amps (Marshall, Ampeg SVT, etc.) and high-end hi-fi.
Date code 0524 visible. Glass and bases in good condition (see photos).
