Roland's AIRA Compact series has offered hit after hit of classic circuits and effects in portable housing, and with the S-1 Tweak Synthesizer, they expand that lineup to include a polyphonic synth. Modeled after the classic SH-101, the S-1 has four voices with independent volume controls for a Saw, Square, Sub and Noise oscillators. On top of that, you can add unique waveforms by editing the shape directly on the S-1 for overtone and comb filter sounds. Incredibly simple to use with a gorgeous, smooth filter, built-in delay and reverb with independent controls, along with D-Motion gesture control. Perform power-free with the built-in rechargeable battery lasting up to 4.5 hours on a single charge. With the 64-step sequencer, you can get something as expressive and nuanced as you'd like by using the probability setting, velocity, sub steps, and more. Roland's S-1 Tweak Synth is one of the best portable performance synths out there and integrates perfectly into the AIRA Compact ecosystem.
