Here’s a 1957 Fender tweed Champ. It has been recently serviced and is functioning and sounding great like a late 50’s tweed champ should. This has the 5E1 circuit which has a great crunchy drive sound when pushed. Power transformer has been replaced with a Copper Wire Products transformer which looks to be from the 50’s. Speaker is original but has been reconed. This is not uncommon for this era of speaker as the cone is made of paper and becomes brittle at this age. The electrolytic caps have been replaced with F&Ts. To keep the aesthetics of the inside of the chassis we took the original covers and placed them over the new caps. See pictures for condition.
