Erica Synths Drum Sequencer – 42HP Eurorack

This is a drum brain you can play rather than program. It’s laid out like a classic x0x box: punch in steps, add accents, mute and solo tracks on the fly. You don’t have to stop the groove to find a function.

It’s simple on the surface and deep underneath. Every track gets its own length, time signature, direction and shuffle, so polyrhythms and off-kilter loops take seconds to set up. Per-step probability, retrigger and time shift keep patterns moving instead of looping stiffly. The CV/gate track is great for a bassline that locks tight to the drums, and the two LFOs (free-running or tempo-synced) are perfect for slowly opening a hat decay or detuning a kick over a few bars.

The outputs cover a full drum system: 16 triggers, 12 accents, CV, gate, 2 LFOs, plus clock and reset. Memory is 8 banks of 16 patterns at up to 64 steps each, with pattern linking and song mode. It takes MIDI sync with start/stop or an external clock.
