MicroDexed Touch, 6 OP DX7 style FM synth, Groovebox, Braids, VA Engine & More

The 3.2" Capacitive Touch Microdexed Touch (MDT) with 16MB PSRAM is a compact synth, groovebox, and sound-design workstation built around Dexed, the classic DX7-inspired FM synthesizer. Beyond FM, it offers a surprising range of sound engines, sample playback, effects, and powerful sequencing tools. Very active community with new features added frequently.

Key features

• Dexed FM synthesis: Classic 6-operator FM sounds, with multiple FM parts for layered and multitimbral arrangements.
• Multiple sound engines: Microsynth, ePiano, Braids polyphonic synthesis, granular synthesis, and NoiseMaker drum synthesis.
• Sample playback: Multisample support, looping, trimming, and slicing.
• Two integrated sequencers: An 8-track step sequencer and a 12-track LiveSequencer, with piano-roll editing, song mode, step recording, and real-time MIDI recording.
• Creative tools: Chord Arranger, arpeggiation, per-step effects, and pattern-generation tools.
• Effects and sound shaping: Chorus, delay, reverb, EQ, and master dynamics processing.
• MIDI and connectivity: USB/TRS MIDI, advanced MIDI routing, controller mapping, and browser-based remote control and file management.

There's a lot of depth here, whether you're into FM sound design, building complex patterns, experimenting with samples, or integrating hardware into a larger MIDI setup.
