The Lucina AX-09 is one of the smallest (practical) Keytars, and arguably the best beginner's Keytar. It features a built-in sound library that's very usable despite its age. This one's in the rare sparkly black color. The keys feel full-size and have proper velocity sensitivity. It's comfortable to wear with its 3 strap points, and sits on a table or stand nicely too. It has some cosmetic wear but everything is functional. Includes original power supply, can also be powered by a million AAs.
There's a pitch strip under your hand, allowing you to easily bend notes like a guitar. The modulation bar beside it can be used to modulate your tone with variable sensitivity (set to vibrato by default). Unique to the Roland keyboards is the D-Beam, a sensor that controls various filters by detecting the distance your hand is from the sensor. It also features MIDI support (great!), V-link support (you'll never use this), and a USB playback feature.
While everything functions perfectly fine, There's a few scratches on it, and the paint's rubbed off in small spots near the grip. It's still really pretty, but it's not a pristine example. I highlight the most prominent scratches in the photos; it could use a good clean.
