Seymour Duncan Antiquity II for Jazzmaster Pickup Set

The Seymour Duncan Antiquity II for Jazzmaster delivers authentic vintage voice with articulate, woody character that respects the original voicing of offset guitars. Hand-built in the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop, these pickups capture the nuance and harmonic complexity of classic Jazzmaster tones without sacrificing clarity or definition. This is a genuine vintage-style upgrade for players who prioritize tonal authenticity and subtlety.

Tone & Magnetic Character

Both the neck and bridge pickups are wound with plain enamel magnet wire and feature hand-ground Alnico 5 rod magnets that deliver the warm, articulate response associated with quality vintage designs. The neck pickup is reverse wound for hum cancellation when both pickups are engaged, yielding quiet operation without sacrificing the natural magnetic interaction between coils. The vintage output level sits in the sweet spot for clean definition and natural breakup with tube amplifiers.

Construction & Wiring

Hand-built construction, lacquered and wax-potted ensure durability and eliminate microphonic feedback common in loosely assembled pickups. Paired with vintage-correct cloth push-back wiring and vintage-correct gray flatwork, installation is straightforward for any tech-savvy player or professional. The attention to period-correct details throughout reinforces the authenticity of the vintage Jazzmaster experience.
